C5 not only focuses on gas plant issues, they focus on creating a more vibrant community in Charles City County by participating in Board of Supervisor meetings, School Board meetings, Planning Commission meetings, and many other events.

 

C5 has supported the CCC High School basketball team, provided local residents who are in need with masks and groceries and hosted a “Praise in the Parking Lot” event in collaboration with Cedar Grove Baptist Church. C5 hosted the first Charles City Earth Day Celebration, roadside litter pickup and assisted the Elementary School PTO with the Spring Fling. C5 hosted a booth at the Social Services Resource Fair to provide information on Upcoming Water Testing, Our Community Garden and Project BLACC.
