C5 strives to EMPOWER Charles City, VA citizens to act and make decisions with as much information as possible and the opportunity to have their voices heard.
Concerned Citizens of Charles City County, C5, was formed in June 2019.
C5 works to inform and educate county residents of issues facing the county.
This group was formed in response to the multiple power plants proposed
for the county--with limited involvement from residents. Two gas plants were proposed for the Roxbury Road corridor in Charles City County, VA. Thanks to the Charles City citizens and their allies, both projects have been cancelled.
