On November 3, 2021, VCU held a Climate Justice Activism Event in VCU Cabell Library, highlighting actions already taken by Richmond, VCU and local communities towards climate justice. This event was held while world leaders gathered in Glasgow, Scotland for the COP26 summit, which brought parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
